Two teenagers have been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
Police are continuing to seek witnesses to the accident in Clifton Road, Hastings, just after 2.30am on Wednesday 20th July.
The road was closed for several hours while officers and rescue workers were at the scene.
Two teenagers riding motorcycles were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims’ families are currently being assisted by specially trained officers.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, causing serious injuries by driving dangerously, failing to stop after a collision and driving under the influence of an illegal substance.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault by dangerous driving, driving under the influence of an illegal substance and aggravated assault.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault by dangerous driving and aggravated assault.
All three were released on police bail until August 18.

“As you know, these investigations must be thorough so that the police will continue to have a presence in the coming days.”
