The plane had been flying for about an hour when it had hydraulic problems at 10,000 feet in the air.
It had to turn around and even stop landing twice when winds hit 80 mph.
According to one witness, the plane was ‘shaken from side to side’ as it tried to land several times.
Due to high winds from Hurricane Franklin, when the private jet attempted to land on the runway, it would ‘fly back into the air’.
“It was only on the third landing that the plane crashed,” plumber Philip Thomson, who was working at the time, explained to the publication.
“The pilot took a flatter approach and the wind eased slightly. Everyone watching was noticeably relieved.”
