Woman, 28, who likes to dress up as a baby says ex-partners are called paedophiles

Lucy, cyber security analyst, first noticed her interest in diapers when she was nine – after researching her interest online, she discovered there was a community of like-minded people

A woman who likes to dress like a baby in her free time says cruel trolls called her ex-partners ‘paedophiles’.

Lucy, 28, a cyber security analyst from Pennslyvania, USA, first became aware of her interest in diapers when she was nine, when she stole her little sister’s diapers and wore them.

When she was a teenager, she started researching her interest and found an online community of people like her known as the Adult Baby/Diaper Lover (ABDL) community.

In August 2021, she launched an Instagram page where she shares pictures of herself in diapers with a pacifier in her mouth.

She says it’s just part of her personality and there’s nothing sexual about it, and while she’s found a community of thousands of like-minded people online, she wasn’t looking for it and is glad she found it.

Lucys says ex-partners of hers have received comments from people saying what they are doing is “messed up” and “the reason pedophiles exist”.

She said: “I was eight or nine years old when I first had these feelings and it was very confusing.

“I didn’t find out about adult babies until I was a teenager, and when I was thirteen I did a few Google searches myself. Until then, it had never occurred to me that there would be more people like me.

“I try to use the bathroom like a normal person until late at night and try not to let it interfere with my everyday life, my friendships or my career.

“It’s something my mother knows about, but other than that I’m keeping it to myself.

“I’ve had a good career and I’m good at my job, but deep down I still feel like a little kid.”

She spends £70 to £100 a month to maintain her lifestyle. She says most of her expenses come from diapers, but she also buys new outfits and onesies for Instagram.

Although she didn’t choose it, it’s something that makes her happy and her boyfriend accepts it too – he even reads her bedtime stories before she goes to sleep.

She continued, “My current boyfriend isn’t in the community but he reads me fairy tales before bed and it makes me feel very comfortable.

“It’s part of who I am and when I post about it on Instagram, I get comments from people telling me I look good, which is nice.

“I’ve been hesitant to create content and share pictures, but I get a lot of positive comments and it makes me feel really sweet.

“Sometimes I get comments that are too sexual, and if someone says something really provocative or asks me to do things that I’m not comfortable with, I usually ignore it.”
