Woman, 38, missing from hospital as police issue 999 alert amid ‘growing concern’

Police have issued a 999 alert for a woman who disappeared from hospital.

Leighanne went missing from City Hospital in Birmingham late afternoon on Saturday.

West Midlands Police said she has since been seen and they are “increasingly concerned” for her wellbeing.

They also posted a grainy image of Leighanne in their appeal to anyone who might see them to call 999.

She was reportedly last seen in a pink shirt and black pants Birmingham Live.

In a Twitter post at 4:28am Monday, along with Leighanne’s picture, West Midlands Police asked: “Can you help us find Leighanne?

“The 38-year-old was last seen at City Hospital in #Birmingham at 5am on Saturday and has not been seen since.

“We are increasingly concerned for their well-being. She was last seen in a pink shirt and black pants.”

They added in a later tweet that if anyone has any information they should call 999 and cite log 654 from May 21.
