A woman who stopped a cheating man’s advances has been applauded by people online.

Zaiah Hoke, 18, shared an interaction she had with a man who recently slipped into her DMs on TikTok, where she is known @zaiahhoke.

Since it was posted, it has gone viral with more than 1.1 million views due to her cheeky response.

Screenshots of the Instagram text exchange showed the man in question responding to one of her stories – a picture of her posing in what appears to be either her underwear or a bikini – with a heart-eye emoji.

He then wrote, “Lemme wife u up rnnnn,” adding a love heart and diamond ring to his message.

Zaiah, of course, took a quick look at his profile and realized he already had a girlfriend who probably had no idea he was making advances to other women on Instagram.

So Zaiah devised a cunning way to put him in his place.

“I just checked out your account and your girlfriend is so pretty! Looks like I might marry her off after sending her a screenshot of it,” she replied.

Unhappy with the comment, he clapped back, “Women these days can’t even take compliments.”

He also added that he was “just playing” for good measure.

But soon he realized the seriousness of his behavior and started asking Zaiah not to contact his girlfriend.

“Don’t tell her,” he writes along with two praying hands as emojis.

“Sorry I got hacked IDK, what was that?”

Zaiah captioned her TikTok, “The way they all act the same when caught or rejected,” and viewers were quick to praise her quick mind.

“Why can’t her friend know that he’s a well-mannered man who only compliments women? Do it,” said one.

“LOL It’s all the same. The flirty ‘compliment’, the insult after a rejection, the ‘my cat hacked my phone’ excuses,” added another.

While one raged: “I feel so bad for his girlfriend she deserves so much better. Why can’t men reach even the bare minimum?”

Others asked Zaiah if she actually told his friend, and she admitted she did.
