Woman arrested after man stabbed chest at home in Ferring

A WOMAN has been arrested after a man was stabbed in the chest inside a house.

Ambulance services were called to the scene of the incident at St Andrews Close, Ferring, just after 8pm on Monday 11 July.

Upon arriving at the property, Sussex Police officers found a man had suffered a stab wound to the chest.

He was taken to the hospital, police said.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of intentional bodily harm.

She remains in custody.

Photos at the scene show a heavy police presence with a line of officers outside a property, along with ambulances and a helicopter ambulance.
