As anyone experimenting with hairstyles will tell you, clipping bangs is a big commitment.
You never know exactly how it’s going to look until your hairstylist has finished styling it, and the slightest change in facial expression can completely change the look of the cut.
And as a woman further tick tock found out that a bad fringe cut can be an absolute style disaster that seems impossible to cover up.
The woman posted a video showing herself new disguiseand while things initially looked good, she revealed that she made the classic mistake of being too tense during the cut, leaving her forehead “wrinkled” and her eyebrows raised.

In the clip, posted to @TheGrenYahsshe said, “I just trimmed my bangs. I have them where they touch my forehead, but they go longer down the sides. They are whispy and they are exactly what I was hoping for.
“Once she was done, I realized all the time that I was doing that. raise my forehead.
“And then once I’ve relaxed…are you ready? As soon as I’ve relaxed.”
The woman then burst out laughing as she showed what happens when she relaxes her forehead – when her eyebrows drop and her bangs rise, leaving her with a bizarrely short and slightly wiggly look.
And while most think they blame the hair stylist for the hair flaw, the woman fully owns up to her own mistakes.
One commenter said: “I love that you didn’t just automatically blame the barber. You connected the dots.”
To which the woman replied, “Oh sure! Definitely my fault.”
Other commenters told the woman to just “stay stressed out for a few weeks” until her bangs grow out.
“I live in a constant state of stress/anxiety,” the woman said, “so this actually works for me.”
Another commented on the clip: “That’s why I always cut my client’s bangs an inch longer, then go in and modify from there.
While another wrote: “This is so funny! I tell my clients to relax their forehead. I found out the hard way.”
A third wrote: “You just bought yourself 2 extra weeks before you have to trim them again.”
