Woman reveals ‘brilliant’ tip for breaking liquid rules at an airport

AIRLINES have strict guidelines for bringing liquids onto an airplane, which can make packing difficult.
But one woman has unveiled a clever hack to get extra liquids through security, and she claims it’s breaking no rules.
Tiktok user Emily McKeon shared a tip with her 22,000 followers on how to carry liquid makeup remover and toner in your carry-on luggage.
She advised travelers to put some cotton pads in a plastic bag and pour makeup remover or toner on them.
The pads absorb the products so that no liquid is left behind.
By storing the cotton pads in a sealed, airtight bag, they stay moist so you can use them when you arrive at your destination.

In the video Emily walking past @emilymckeonfitsaid: “Travel hack for the ladies – put eye makeup remover and toner on cotton pads in sachets. TSA approved.”
The video was viewed 2 million times and people were amazed by the hack.
One person wrote, “Oh my god, why did I never think of that!”
Another wrote: “I needed to know this right away thanks, just packing now.”
Another wrote, “Oh my god that’s so smart.”
And a fourth, to put it simply: “genius”.
Someone else commented and said how much cheaper it was to use Emily’s tip compared to buying travel size products.
They wrote: “I was just watching micellar water Travel sizes today – thought the price was outrageous. Thanks.”
Some flight attendants have revealed the products they pack with Reduce the amount of liquids you carry with you.
They suggest sticking with bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner instead of their liquid counterparts.
The bars are solid and can be stowed in your luggage instead of taking up space in your very limited liquid bag.
Also, there’s no chance of them leaking, so you don’t have to worry about wrapping them in a plastic bag.
We have all the details on the amount of liquids you can take on the plane.
