A woman has shared her hack for mimicking the look of false eyelashes using a simple makeup product you already own – and people online think it looks “so real”.
Buying and applying false lashes every time you want to add a touch of glamor to your makeup look can be costly and time-consuming—but what if there was a way cheat the system By making people think you’re wearing fakes when you’re not?
That’s the goal of an “ingenious” hack further developed by a woman tick tockstunned people online by using a simple makeup product to mimic the look of false eyelashes without actually wearing any.
Anna shared a video in which she revealed that she simply used her eyeliner to draw small lines across her eyelid to create tiny movements that perfectly matched her lashes when her eyes were open – which is what made her special Eyelashes look much longer than they actually are.

And the trick didn’t cost her anything extra because she already had eyeliner in her makeup bag.
The woman posting under the username @annathepeachShe captioned her video, “You can’t just put fake lashes on your eyelid and pretend they’re fake.”
She then captioned the clip: “Ok but can you tell? My hooded eyelid struggles and also one of my favorite lazy girl makeup hacks.”
Anna’s video quickly went viral and currently has more than 103,000 likes – and people are blown away by how “real” the finished result looks.
One person wrote: “It looks so real oh my god.”
While another said: “This is awesome!”
Others admitted they couldn’t tell the difference until Anna got closer to the camera to show off the markings on her eyelids, saying the trick was “so clever”.
However, Anna later took to the comments to admit that she only really uses the hack when she’s feeling “lazy” and will be spending most of the day in a pair of sunglasses.
The illusion of volume on her lashes means she can still look her best in photos without having to go all out with false lashes.
When a commenter said she had to “be careful with the blinks and angles” when using the trick, Anna replied, “That’s true! mostly sunglasses, but might want pictures.”
