In the caption of a recent post, Lizzy can be seen taking cues from the Instagram handle @liz.bitesback, encouraged her followers not to compare themselves to others they may see online.

Sharing pictures of her own body taken just five seconds apart, she wrote, “I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again.

“I don’t have a flat stomach all the time. I don’t walk around 24/7 with a ‘toned ab’.

“Instead of hating your body, take a second to appreciate your body and everything it does for you. Because every single second your body is doing something to keep you alive.

“So stop self-sabotaging and stop comparing yourself to others because you’re always freaking awesome even if you don’t see it yet.”

Many followers have praised Lizzy for opening up such an important conversation and addressing some of the factors that cause so many women to feel unhappy about their looks.
