Woman slams Porsche driver for ‘thinking it’s a tank’

A WOMAN slammed a Porsche driver for “thinking it was a tank” after he “refused to get past an ambulance”.

TikTok user Sarah Saunders filmed the supercar “blocking the road” – but claims the driver had more than enough room to overtake.

Video posted on the social media app shows the Porsche 911 pulled over next to an ambulance, with its doors open and shutting down.

It appears there is room on either side of the iconic car, which is just over 6 feet wide.

Sarah says of the footage: “Here we have a Porsche driver who cannot overtake the ambulance on the right-hand side.

“As you can see on the left here, he’s just on the yellow lines and the door for the ambulance isn’t even past the white line.

“So he thinks he has a tank — and he doesn’t.”

Other TikTok users rushed to the clip’s comments to give their two cents on the situation.

Many agreed with Sarah that the driver could easily have overtaken the emergency vehicle.

One wrote: “I could push my truck past this – lots of room on either side.”

Another joked, “Even if he rode his bike, he probably wouldn’t come over.”

However, more people sided with the supercar driver, who must have spent more than £80,000 on his ride.

One man said: “So he should risk damaging his car and an emergency vehicle?

“If he feels like he can’t do it, why would he risk it?”

A second added: “Probably not their car and they are afraid of damaging it.”

And a third wrote: “Agree there is room but Porsche 911s are wider at the back which you can’t really see here. They are also difficult to see.

“If he was riding a bike, he probably wouldn’t come by anyway.”
