Woman ‘stalks boyfriend on Apple AirTag before killing him over fears of cheating’

A woman who tracked her boyfriend with Apple AirTag feared it was him Fraudsters followed him to a pub – and reportedly ran him over.

Gaylyn Morris, 26, of Indiana, believed her boyfriend Andre Smith, 26, was cheating on her and allegedly went to an Indianapolis pub three times in the past month to monitor his whereabouts.

Morris had reportedly confided to witnesses at the pub that she was using an Apple AirTag, a tracking device to locate lost items, and a GPS to monitor his movements, as she feared Smith was meeting up with another woman.

According to IndyStar, Morris told the pub witness that Smith was cheating on her, and at that moment she picked up an empty wine bottle and told the witness that she was going to beat up the woman he saw.

Morris is said to have swung the wine bottle at the woman but the friend caught it between the two women – as all three were told to leave the pub as the argument broke out.

However, Smith stayed at the pub while waiting for food, but when Morris came outside she allegedly got into her car and waited for him to leave the pub.

According to investigators and witnesses at the scene, she then drove her car into her boyfriend when she clipped him and ran over him multiple times.

A witness told police outside the bar: “Morris pulled forward and cut off the victim (Smith) and he went down, at which point … (Morris) then backed over him and then pulled forward and hit him for the third time.”

Morris then allegedly got out of her car and tried to attack the other woman, but was immediately arrested by police officers.

Emergency services were called to the scene, but the Indianapolis Fire Department pronounced Andre dead at the scene.

A local coroner also determined that he died from being hit by a vehicle on purpose.

Gaylyn Morris was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with murder.
