A woman was named after her car with two children in it crashed into a river.
The woman died in Friday night’s tragedy, while the two boys, aged 10 and 12, escaped as the vehicle sank deeper into the water.
Horrified bystanders pulled the boys to safety after the car backed into the River Lee at Kennedy Quay in Cork, Ireland.
She was named locally as Gillian Daly of Marlborough in the Douglas area of the city, the reports Irish mirror.
The children were taken to hospital and treated for shock before being released into the care of relatives.

Gardai are treating the incident as a tragic accident and hope to speak to the children to find out what happened in the moments before.
A spokesman said: “Gardai is investigating all circumstances of an incident in which a vehicle entered the Lee River.
“Two children were recovered from the water and taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.”
Gardai is appealing for witnesses to get in touch, especially those with dashcam footage.

Tributes were paid online, with one social media user saying: “May you rest in peace beautiful Gillian.”
Another said: “So sorry to hear of Gillian’s passing…she taught my children primary school and was so kind and kind, may she rest in peace.”
One social media user added: “Biggest hugs to all of Gillian’s family. May she rest in peace.”
On the night of the tragedy, a search continued into the night for Gillian, who was said to have been trapped in the car around 8.45pm as it pulled into Kennedy Quay.
Cork Missing Persons Search and Rescue, which was involved in the operation.
A spokesman wrote: “We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.”
The results of the autopsy will help determine the course of the Garda investigation into the incident.
