Get ready for some early morning games
If American viewers want to watch the first game live, they have to look forward to a very, very early morning. The first opener will be New Zealand against Norway at midday in Auckland. For US viewers, that will be Thursday at 3 p.m. EDT. Slightly less engaged viewers can look forward to the second game – Australia v Ireland in Sydney – which starts at 6am ET and marks Ireland’s first appearance at the Women’s World Cup.
