Woody Harrelson shared a strange experience he had with Michael J Fox in the 1980s.

Before Fox appeared on stage, Harrelson revealed that, on a night out in 1989, he and Fox, both 61 years old, drank cobra blood together.

While Mitchelson kept quiet, he said that Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease just two years later, “immediately vomited up his solid cocktail”. He quipped: “Never stop the cobra blood”.

Later, when Fox was introduced on stage, he said, “I love you. We did some damage in the eighties.”

Harrelson also praised Fox for adapting his “cold diagnosis to a brave mission,” referring to Fox’s foundation, which has raised more than $1 billion for a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

The actor said: “He never asked to play the role of Parkinson’s advocate, but it was his best performance. Michael J Fox is a great example of how to fight and how to live.”
