Wordle took is taking the world by storm, and if you haven’t given in to the daily game, we can guarantee you’ve been seeing the elusive squares all over social media.
The game uses the same rules as Scrabble, where only real words are allowed in both the guessing and the outcome.
If you have a letter in the right place and form the correct word, the square turns green.
But if the guessed letter is in the word but not in the right place, the square will turn yellow.

The game was developed by software engineer Josh Wardle, who sold the popular word game to The New York Times after it became a worldwide sensation.
In a statement on Twitter, he wrote: “Since the launch of Wordle I have been amazed by the response from everyone who has played.
“The game turned out bigger than I ever imagined (which I don’t think is a great achievement considering I made the game for an audience).
“It’s been incredible to see the game bring so much joy to so many people, and I’m so grateful for the personal stories some of you have shared with me – from Wordle uniting distant family members, to provoking more friendly ones rivalries to supporting medical recoveries.
“On the other hand, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t mind-blowing.”
