World of Warships adds new French cruisers, Legends brings Pan-European ships to Early Access

world of warships and World of Warships: Legends are packed with May content, with the latest round of updates being announced, including new French cruisers on PC and early access for Pan-European destroyers on console.

Wargaming has loads of content for each version of the game and the PC version includes these new French cruisers alongside it Azure Lane Content that continues the partnership with the mobile game and anime. Azure Lane is set in an alternate World War II, with characters based on warships from that era world of warshipsthe two go together.

Collaboration content includes new ships, special camouflages, commemorative flags, collectible containers, including updated Premium containers. The premium container rewards have also been updated with new potential rewards.

The update also includes some balance tuning for a number of ships. These are based on community feedback and combat effectiveness data. Submarines are also still being tested and this update disables the ability to launch torpedoes at max depth and they have also replaced the ping movement effect with a launch effect that gives an indication of where to go for a different strategy.

Season 17 of Clan Battles is also starting soon, this time codenamed Cayman and in a 7v7 format featuring Tier X ships and Superships. This begins on May 24th at 11pm Pacific Time and ends on Monday July 11th at 4pm Pacific Time.

The console update for World of Warships: Legends 7 pan-European ships will enter Early Access. A Polish cruiser and six Swedish destroyers will be introduced and you can research them at the beginning of the next update. This update also brings two new Commanders and the Return to Belfast campaign, which allows you to purchase a Tier VII version of The Belfast ’43.
