A “devil” with more than 500 body modifications, including a teary eye with 278 piercings on his genitals, has revealed what he looked like before his transformation.
Rolf Buchholz, 62, holds the Guinness World Record for his 516 alterations to his body, including horns implanted in his forehead and his tongue cut in two.
But new images reveal the German wasn’t always the black-eyed “devil,” with tattoos covering 90% of his body. People know him now Daily Star reports.
In a picture shared by the computer scientist, he can be seen stepping out of the sea without a single visible piercing on his body.

Another shows him holding a horse’s bridle with large glasses and longer hair.
Friends of the Dortmunder, who knew him before his dates with a tattoo artist’s needle, would hardly recognize him today.
He previously said, “A lot of people think I’m the devil, but I don’t think I am.”
Rolf is the current proud owner of two world titles – most piercings (male) and most body modifications (male).
He told them, “I started doing body modifications because I liked them.
“They were fun, so I started making more and more.
“One day I saw that I could break the record because I met other record holders and realized I had more piercings than them.”
“I think my most famous body modifications are my horn implants. You are really big.

“Apart from that I have a lot of implants as you can see on my arms and on the back of my hands. I also have a star under my chest.
“One day I saw that I was a Guinness World Records title holder. It was great to get the record because it’s special and I’m very proud of it.
“I didn’t do it for the record. I got the record in the end, yes, but I made the changes for myself.
“I like the modification, I like it, so I made it.”
Another of Rolf’s passions is body suspension, using hooks placed through the skin to hold him up.
He claims he feels “no pain” when participating in the hobby.
Although he prides himself on his looks, it sometimes causes problems with authorities.
In 2014 he was denied entry to the United Arab Emirates because of his implants and was asked to return to Germany because of his modifications.
