PEOPLE have flocked to Worthing to celebrate the city’s carnival.
Held over the August bank holiday weekend each year, the event includes a wide range of stalls and music, as well as the all-important parade.
The weekend event, organized by Worthing’s Rotary clubs, includes everything from samba music to a dog show and car show.
The streets were flooded with people riding bicycles and carrying beach balls during the parade today.
The spectators took advantage of the beautiful holiday weather to take part in the city’s big summer festival.
This year’s parade also included performances by the Worthing Bonfire Society, as well as vans and vendors decked out in carnival colors.
The event also included a visit from the emergency services, who happily joined in the fun.
