And according to boss Adam Hinshelwood, everything got pretty competitive on the bowling green.
The Mackerel Men visit rivals Bognor tomorrow night (7.45pm) in their penultimate friendly as they prepare to face south soccer of the Vanarama National League for the first time.
They host Wycombe at home against Dover a week on Saturday on Tuesday ahead of the league opener.
The players donned their striking new all-white third kit, which is sold onlineand had a meeting at the neighboring Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club.
Hinshelwood said: “I think things got a little bit competitive between the guys!
“The club wants to build that relationship to tie the two clubs together.”
Worthing have signed deals with two players who were recently on trial.
Nodirbek Bobomurodov, a striker originally from Uzbekistan, and former Eastbourne Borough midfielder Charlie Towning featured in Charity Shield’s 3-0 Isthmian League win over Horsham on Tuesday.
Two other study participants should also sign.
