WWE star flew in a horrifying moment during a live show in the UK when the top rope snapped

There was a harrowing moment at a WWE house show in Newcastle this week when Bobby Lashley was thrown outside after the ropes seemed to snap him

WWE Star Bobby Lashley had a dangerous moment against Drew McIntyre this week – and for once it wasn’t a wrestling storyline.
On Thursday, the two giants went head-to-head in the main event of a non-televised show in Newcastle. The event formed part of the current UK tour, with Smackdown taking place at the O2 Arena the following night.
After interference from Sami Zayn, the battle between the two former champions seemed to be coming to an end as The All Mighty lifted the Scot to his shoulders. However, McIntyre managed to break free before the two hit the ropes on opposite sides of the ring.
But while that sequence looked choreographed, what happened next was anything but. As Lashley tried to recover before “The Scottish Warrior,” the top rope snapped at him dramatically.
It meant the former MMA fighter was catapulted onto the big screen and many viewers watched in stunned silence at the aftermath of his fall. Zayn, the umpire and the stadium’s medical team then tended to the star while an incredulous McIntyre looked on from the ring.
However, after being screened, Lashley, 45, stuck to the old wrestling adage, “The show must go on.” He returned to his performance and finished the fight, eventually losing to McIntyre to end the show.
His bravery didn’t go unnoticed on social media. Hardcore legend Tommy Dreamer tweeted: “It’s official Bobby Lashley is a Terminator. Hope you are well.”
It wasn’t long before the man himself responded, writing, “…and some of you guys think I’m not the toughest guy in WWE.” His post was accompanied by a bunch of laughing emojis, at least suggesting that he was the could see the funny side of the botch.
And WWE fans were eager to add praise, with @AvsFan_2xSCC posting, “Really glad you’re ok from this mishap. I was worried even after you got back in the ring but I remembered you are The All Mighty and it can’t be stopped!”
@ccgamergirl94 added: “That’s why they say don’t try this at home. These two are trained professionals and they can also injure themselves taking those bumps and falls.” @Edwardsm420 joked, “Guess it’s time to wish the top rope the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
The following night, however, McIntyre was at the center of a far more positive development for British fans. He revealed Details of the highly anticipated show Clash at the Castle, the first WWE stadium event to take place on these shores in 30 years.
Advance tickets for WWE Clash at the Castle at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium will go live on Wednesday 18th May with public ticket sales beginning on Friday 20th May. The details were revealed prior to the encounter by McIntyre himself, the first-ever British WWE Champion and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman rule.
