Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct are coming later this month

Microsoft has announced an Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct, a new game showcase “giving fans a look at some of the games coming to Xbox, PC and Game Pass over the next few months.”

It will air on January 25th and will include Xbox studios such as Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios and ZeniMax Online Studios. This Developer Direct will be “focused on big features, expanded gameplay showcases, and the latest information for Xbox games releasing over the next few months,” including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall.

You might notice a large galaxy-sized absence in this lineup: Starfield. Don’t fret, Xbox says a standalone Starfield show is in the works “to give the right time to take a deep dive” into the game.

Xbox has also detailed what you can expect for each game. For The Elder Scrolls Online, ZeniMax Online Studios will unveil the 2023 Big Chapters Update, “including the newest regions of Tamriel to become playable in ESO, as well as a major new feature coming in this year’s biggest update to the game.” . A full “ESO Chapter Reveal Event” will follow this Developer Direct. On the Forza Motorsport side, Turn 10 Studios will be sharing more gameplay and new details about the game.

Mojang Studios will provide a new look at the upcoming Minecraft Legends PvP multiplayer experience, and Arkane Austin will showcase “several minutes of gameplay” from Redfall, including single-player and multiplayer gameplay. According to Xbox, fans can expect to learn more about combat, customization, bosses, the open world, and more.

The Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct will air Wednesday, January 25 at 12:00 p.m. PT/3:00 p.m. ET.
