Xbox Game Pass always sees games come and go, and this month sees titles like that MLB The Show 21 and indie game away leave the service.
Sorry baseball fans, your chance to hit one out of the park specifically in 2021 is about to expire as MLB The Show 21 will no longer be playable on Game Pass starting April 16th. This includes both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S versions of the game. That probably has something to do with it MLB The Show 22 Coming tomorrow, April 5th, and available on Game Pass on day one. So we’re not sorry because you can get everything you need for wooden clubs fast enough anyway.
What we’re sorry about is that the beautiful Pathway will also be removed from Game Pass PC, also on April 16th. A few years ago, Pathway was available as a free download on the Epic Games Store as part of an update at the time. It’s a turn-based tactics game set in 1936 where you try to stop Nazis from finding treasure in North African temples, which is generally a good thing.
Also exiting Game Pass PC is destiny 2but that’s free anyway, so no real loss.
The long dark will leave the service later this month. In this title you survive a snowy mountain range and try to search for supplies while protecting yourself from frostbite. Permadeath works well for people who like to live a non-committal life.
And finally, Game Pass is also leaving the comedy game in April rain on your parade. Here you literally play as a cloud out to make everyone’s day a little bit worse. Think Katamari Damacy mixed with Untitled Goose Game. If you like making others unhappy, try it before it’s gone.
