Xbox will remove almost 50 games from the 360 store
XBOX has announced that starting this month nearly 50 games will be removed from the 360 store.
Out of February 7thXbox 360 owners can no longer purchase these games through their console.

Those who buy the games over the next few days will be able to download them to their consoles at a later date.
However, if you miss the deadline, there is no way to buy these games for your 360 in the future.
If you have already purchased the titles, you can also download them later. You can also play physical copies.
Many of the games are available via backwards compatibility for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners.
These versions will continue to be available for the foreseeable future.
It’s likely that Xbox will slowly shut down the 360 store as it hopes players will upgrade to their more modern consoles.
While the store isn’t shutting down just yet, removing specific games is usually the beginning of the end for console stores.
Among the games that will be removed are a number of games from popular series.
Games from the Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty series are on the list for removal, as are some Xbox exclusives.
