Yazmin Oukhellou has recalled “breaking” her arm to free herself after a car crash plunged 70ft into a cliff that killed her boyfriend Jake McLean.
He, the Only Way Is Essex star, 28, spontaneously flew to Turkey to reconcile with boyfriend McLean and “everything was perfect” before the crash.
She told The Sun: “We were just doing somersaults for what seemed like forever. It felt like I was walking around in a washing machine, round and round.
“Then it eventually stopped and my right arm got stuck.
“The car was upside down. It has an open sunroof and my right arm is just stuck behind my back and under the folding rear of the hood.
“I tried to honk with my foot and I couldn’t do it.”
The reality TV star revealed she suffered a severed artery in her arm during the collision.
She said: “I could just feel my arm completely covered in blood. It’s like I’m lying in a hot tub, there’s so much around me.
“At the same time I was trying to wake Jake up. I didn’t want to admit to myself that he might be dead.
“So I thought, ‘Yes, I could lie there and bleed to death, or snap my own arms to try to save us, I have no choice.

“So somehow I snapped my fingers through pure adrenaline and freaked out. I climbed out of the car, and grabbed my arm with my left hand.
“I ran up to the top of the bank, I was screaming for help and then suddenly I saw a flashlight.”
Oukhellou said a man ran up to her with his dog, took off his shirt and wrapped it around her arm.
“I climbed down and tried to check his pulse but I couldn’t feel anything and then the ambulance came.
“They helped me. I was like, ‘Can you just help him, please’ and they said, ‘We just have to take him to another hospital’.
“I thought they knew, but for me even now I still feel it’s not real. I still feel like I’m just waiting to wake up from a nightmare and it’s just something that never happens,” she said.
Oukhellou explained that she spent the night at a club with friends in the tourist area of Bodrum before the couple decided to drive to a friend’s villa “high up in the mountains”.
She added: “I was nodding in the car. I was sleeping and woke up with the car coming off the cliff.
“Now I know that if I hadn’t slept I probably wouldn’t have survived because the doctor said it meant my body was more relaxed.
“I cut an artery and a nerve, that’s why I was bleeding a lot. The doctors called me an angel, which is a miracle, because it’s a notorious site and humans have never survived.
“Now I just wonder how the hell did my teammates die while I was alive? It made me see life completely differently.
“I will definitely need treatment for a while, and I will also try some inpatient treatments. I know this will live with me forever, I need to take it slow. “
