You can unlock hidden iPhone features by entering codes on your keyboard

YOU can access a range of handy iPhone features using little-known codes that you plug in your keyboard.
The hack works whether you have an old iPhone or a new one, and lets you find a stronger cellular signal, block outgoing calls, and more.

We have collected some of the best codes for you.
Some may work better than others depending on your device and location.
How to Access iPhone’s IMEI
Your International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is the unique number assigned to your smartphone.
Sometimes you will be asked for it when you want to unlock an iPhone to use another network.

The number is also useful when trying to locate a lost or stolen iPhone.
To find your IMEI number, go to your dial pad and enter it *#06#.
The number should just appear on your screen.
Code to find a stronger signal
A viral YouTube video explains how a “secret submenu” on your iPhone can turn your signal bars into numbers so you can see when your signal is getting better or worse.
In the voiceover, users are instructed to go to their iPhone keyboard and enter the code: “*3001#12345#*”.
After entering all those symbols and numbers, click on the green call button.
A hidden menu should appear asking you to click “LTE”.
The presenter then clicks Serving Cell Meas.
The video explains how the number you see above should be as close to zero as possible to indicate good service strength.
If you move your phone, you should notice the number change.
Apparently “minus 50” or “minus 40” means good service.
However, “minus 140” means no service at all.
Divert incoming calls
There are different codes for this depending on the situation of the call you want to divert.
If you want to divert a call when you don’t answer, dial *61*.
To divert a call when your iPhone is unreachable, select *62*.
If you want to divert a call when your iPhone is busy, select *67*.
Next, enter and type the number you want calls to be diverted to # and then the green dial button.
To deactivate, dial the code you originally entered and press call.
How to Hide Caller ID on iPhone
If you want to call someone and you don’t see your caller ID, enter *67 or attempts #31# if you are located outside of the United States.
Enter the phone number of the person you are talking to, including the area code.
Then click the green dial button.
Minutes left for your contract
This is useful if you’re worried about overspending your contract.
Just choose *646#.
Block Outgoing Calls on iPhone
This one has a few steps.
Choose *33* and then enter your PIN followed by a #.
Tap the green dial button.
This feature can be useful when you lend someone your iPhone but don’t want them to make outgoing calls.

Activate or deactivate call waiting
This can let you know if someone else is trying to call you while you’re already on the phone.
To ensure this is enabled, select *43# and then click the green dial button.
To deactivate the function, select #43#.
