You could get a NEW iPhone every year with a “Netflix-style” Apple subscription — and it could save you money
According to a report, APPLE plans to launch a new subscription plan for iPhones and iPads within the next 12 months.
The service would allow fans to pay a monthly fee to get the latest Apple gadgets as they are released.

According to sources, it could launch in late 2022 or early 2023 Bloomberg in a report published on Thursday.
Apple already runs a monthly payment plan for gadgets — including iPhones and iPads — purchased from its website.
Program customers effectively spread the price of the device over a 12 or 24 month period.
According to Bloomberg, the new service would be different in that it wouldn’t simply cover the cost of the device divided by 12 or 24 months.
Instead, members would pay an as-yet-unspecified monthly fee, which might come with an option to upgrade to new hardware when it’s released.
Currently, Apple’s monthly plans don’t automatically roll over to new devices when they launch.
Bloomberg said the change would “make device ownership much like paying a monthly app fee.”
Like Apple’s other subscriptions, it would be tied to a user’s existing Apple ID account.
It’s possible that customers will also have the option to bundle AppleCare or Apple One services.
In the long run, you could save money with small discounts offered to those who combine services into one subscription.
Apple has so far focused on selling iPhones directly at full price. New devices can cost well over £1,000/$1,000.
The iPhone remains the company’s biggest source of revenue, generating $192 billion last year.
The iPhone plan is part of the company’s effort to shift to subscription services, which it sees as a largely untapped revenue stream.
In 2020, the company launched Apple One, which bundles a number of its digital services into a single subscription tier.
Users get access to Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and more for a monthly fee.
You can choose from one of three tiers depending on how much you want to spend and who will be using it.
