concerned are looking to lead France to the championship when they take on Scotland on Saturday but Gregor Townsend’s men have a point to prove after trying to build on their opening win over England.
The defeats to Wales and France were followed by a 33-22 victory in Rome but the late Italian surge was a warning for Scotland ahead of their trip to Aviva.
“We are focusing on ourselves this week,” said Fageron. We knew it was going to be a huge challenge. They’re playing for the championship and being at home, they’re going to want to give their all going forward.
“But focusing on ourselves, what we do well, really coming together as a team, will be very important to us.

“Playing Leinsters, Munsters, Ulster and your stuff, those are pretty cool head-to-head teams,” he added. “You know what they’re going to bring but they do it too well.
