You need to turn on these iPhone settings NOW or someone could spy on you

TIKTOKER has highlighted a handy iPhone hack that could one day save your bacon.
In a recent video, user @kaansanity showed a series of device settings that you can change to protect your mobile device from thieves.
This trick is designed to make sure that pickpockets or vandals can’t enable AirPlane Mode on your phone to hide it.
Here’s a trick crooks use to prevent you from seeing your iPhone’s location using Apple’s device tracking feature Find my feature.
“Let’s say your phone is stolen,” Kaansanity told her five million TikTok followers in a upload last week.
“The thief will turn on Airplane Mode so you can’t see the location.”
Even without your iPhone Passcode, a good novice can enable this setting using the Control Center.
It’s a menu you can access from the lock screen, giving you instant access to useful controls.

Kaansanity explained how to block this easy solution in her video.
In your iPhone Settinggo Face ID and passcode And off Control Center.
This requires anyone using their mobile phone to enter the correct Face ID or Passcode to access the Control Center.
For added security, TikToker also recommends going to the same Settings page and turning off USB Accessories.
This secures your texts and photos by ensuring that anyone using your phone needs to unlock it before plugging in the data-hover cable.
Kaansanity’s final piece of advice is to make sure location services are turned on so Find My can do its job.
To do that, go to Setting And after that Privacy > Location Services.
Then under Setting > Find My Iphone and enable all three available options by tapping the slider so it turns green.
What is Finy My?
Apple designed your iPhone so it can be found even when it’s turned off.
There are several ways to track a lost iPhone – so don’t panic if you’ve misplaced it.
If you forget your iPhone at the office, the Find My Phone app makes it easy to track it on a map.
This even works if the device is off.
That’s because Apple has incorporated Ultra Wideband technology into some recent iPhone models.
So other iPhones or Apple devices near the handset will “ping” it to Apple’s Find My network.

All you need is someone with an Apple device move close to the iPhone and it will appear on the map – even when it’s off.
You can access Find My through another Apple device or by signing in to iCloud in a browser.
