The experts revealed that the simple fix is to make sure you sleep on your side.
But if you find yourself trying this but keep waking up on your back, sleep experts recommend using a tennis ball for support, or the technical term tennis ball therapy.
They said: “Glue or sew one to the back of your pajamas to make sleeping on your back more difficult.
“What do we do when faced with difficulties and discomfort? Of course we avoid it.
“Now, crucially, sleep on our side!”
They say that any object large enough to hinder you from sleeping on your back will do.
And the hack stood the test of time, as American soldiers used small, stuffed backpacks in the American Revolutionary War to keep themselves from snoring and relaying their position to their enemy.
The experts also recommend trying to lean your back against something to prevent yourself from rolling onto your back.
They recommend using pillows so you don’t roll over.
If you absolutely cannot sleep on your side, try elevating your head to minimize narrowing of your airway.
You can try a wedge pillow under your head or even stack some books under your mattress to give it a slight boost.
