Young pedestrian taken to Temple Street for treatment after road accident

Gardaí today visited the scene of a serious road accident in Dundrum involving a pedestrian and a car.

The collision happened just before noon on Wyckham Way in Dundrum.

Gardaí attended the scene and the road has now been reopened.

The young pedestrian was taken to Children’s Health Ireland in Temple Street for treatment.

The extent of her injuries is not yet known.

Gardaí said no further information is available at this time.
