Your hidden Facebook inbox will soon be flooded with even more messages

A NEW “Bumping” feature is coming soon to Facebook Messenger users worldwide.

But it might clog users’ hidden Messenger inbox.

You can find the hidden inbox by opening Messenger and clicking on the three horizontal lines on the top left of the screen.

There users will find the inboxes for message requests and spam, which are usually hidden.

Forwarding a message can help remind others of something previously sent in a chat.

But it can also be used to fill your inbox with more spam.

This feature allows users to put their own or someone else’s previous message at the beginning of a chat.

In short, it duplicates the message you received and turns it into a reply.

Similar to other messages, people in chat get notifications for bounced messages.

To send a message in a chat, tap and Hold on to the message You want to bump > More > Bump.

Certain types of messages cannot currently be triggered, e.g. B. Polls, location share details and missed calls.

However, the feature is currently only accessible to Android users after being unveiled to beta testers last year.

According to Facebook, bumping messages also do not work with end-to-end encrypted chats.

Meta, Facebook’s parent company, earlier this month gave more Messenger users access to end-to-end encryption.

It’s a controversial feature that can help improve user privacy, which a wider range of beta testers now have access to.
