It saves you from digging through your box’s various menus to find the content you saved for later.

The trick was highlighted in a recent video shared by a TikTok user @wadesramsey.

The British tech guru, known online as Wade, regularly shares tips and tricks on popular gadgets and services, including Sky TV.

The button he highlights includes the “Sky” logo at the top of your remote.

Press it to bring up your recordings, which is anything you’ve chosen to download and save for later.

That’s any movies or TV shows you have stored on your box.

It’s a simple trick, but one that many people don’t know – even if they’ve had Sky Q for years.

In comments below Wade’s video, which was released in February, Sky Q fans expressed their shock at learning about it.

One wrote: “Wow, I’m embarrassed I didn’t know.”

Another said: “I didn’t even know it was a button.”

While a third admitted: “Just thought it was a badge on my remote how embarrassing thank you for that.”

It’s not the only neat Sky TV trick Wade has shared with his online following.

For example, did you know that your Sky remote control can control both your TV and your Sky box?

As well as changing channels and browsing Sky’s catalog of content, your zapper can turn your box on and off and even change the volume.

Linking the two requires just a few button presses and saves you from using two remotes to watch shows and movies.

Just hold down buttons one and three on your remote while pointing it at your Sky box.

This will open the remote control setup menu. blow continue and then enter the brand of your TV.

Select the brand of TV you are using.

From here you can either enter the model number manually or have your Sky box figure it out for you.

Your box will then prompt you to press the volume buttons on your remote control to verify that the connection was successful.

Press volume up or volume down. If this changes the volume bar on your TV, press Yes.

If you have a surround sound system, you can set it up in the next menu. If not, ignore this menu and press Finished.

Voila, your Sky remote should now control your TV and save you a little time when you sit down to watch.
