You’re Using iMessage Wrong – iPhone owners need to learn three genius hacks

There’s a lot more to iMessage than meets the eye – at least for most iPhone owners.
There are several ways hidden in the Apple messaging app to make texting easier.
Pinning for friends
If you have people or group chats that you message frequently and want to be more accessible in the Messages app, you can pin up to nine conversations to the top of the screen.
To pin an iMessage chat, tap and hold it and then select the Pen Possibility.
You can also tap and drag a chat upstairs where you then drop it to nail it down.
Once you have at least one conversation pinned to the top, you can add more from the three dot menu that will offer you a separate conversation Edit pins Menu.
Edit sent messages
We all make mistakes, even when texting.
But what many iPhone users don’t know is that you can now edit an iMessage after sending it.
The feature, which is only available on iPhones running iOS 16, gives users 15 minutes to edit a message.
Be warned, however, the original, unedited version of the message will not go away entirely

It’s easy to lose track of responses when you’re bombarded with a sea of messages.
But this feature, used by WhatsApp for years before it was acquired by Apple, helps iPhone users cut through the noise.
This means you can reply directly to a message, letting friends and family know what text you’re replying to.
