He has grown in popularity over the years and is now one of the most popular creators on the platform with an estimated multi-million dollar value.

Over the years he’s been very critical of big-budget triple-A games that produce essentially the same game every year.

This includes games that hold up progress through microtransactions or otherwise bring nothing new or interesting to the industry and label them as “spam.”

Dunkey claims his new publishing label BigMode will be used to help passionate indie creators with their projects.

It describes itself as “a passionate voice for quality, originality and fun in indie games”.

He also says that BigMode will not work with games that use NFTs, crypto or blockchain technology.

No one is currently signed to BigMode, although developers can apply for a publishing deal through the website.

One of the biggest claims Dunkey makes in its announcement video is that the company “put a lot of effort into creating the most developer-friendly contracts.”

However, we have yet to see copies of the contracts and do not know the exact terms.

On Twitter, many people criticized Dunkey’s efforts, saying that someone who plays and reviews games does not have the relevant experience required for publication.

Publishers often perform a variety of administrative tasks for studios, such as: B. approving and rating the game on each platform, and managing media and marketing.

Speaking anonymously to GLHF, an industry expert supported Dunkey’s efforts to promote unknown games through its platform.

They said: “Publishers with essentially zero success, with CEOs who have the same experience as Dunkey when they start servicing a new publisher, that’s ridiculous.

“They should probably focus on releasing games that actually sell, rather than relying on individual titles to support their portfolio of formulas.”
