Prince George and Princess Charlotte stayed up past their bedtime last night as they attended the Queen’s Platinum Party at The Palace and had great fun with their cousins.
George and Charlotte sat in the royal box and Zara Tindall had playful fun with the future king.
As he watched the musical performance, Princess Anne’s daughter Zara leaned in from the row behind and cheekily poked his ear with a Union Jack flag.
Princess Charlotte, seven, and Kate Middleton, 40, saw the funny side of the prank and were pictured giggling as they watched his reaction.
The Cambridge family is very close to Zara and Mike Tindall, with Zara being one of Prince George’s godparents.

During the Queen’s surprise appearance with Paddington Bear, George and Charlotte were seen laughing at the monarch’s admission that she keeps an emergency stock of jam sandwiches in her purse.
The Queen and the famous bear met for a messy cream tea at Buckingham Palace in a special, secretly recorded sequence played at the Palace at the start of the televised BBC Platinum Party.
The bear in the duffle coat told the Queen how he made sure he always had his favorite treat with him, just in case, by raising his red hat to reveal his snack.
The Queen responded by saying, “Me too,” before opening her bag and declaring, “I keep mine here,” before showing off her own ready-made stash of bread and orange marmalade, adding, “For later.” “
Princess Charlotte was visibly delighted with the revelation.
