Zendaya denies she’s pregnant with Tom Holland’s child as TikTok hoax goes viral

Actress Zendaya had to deny pregnancy rumors after a TikTok joke went viral.

Video on the social media platform appears to show a fake ultrasound photo that has been edited to look like the star Euphoria posted the photo.

However, the 25-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to refute rumors that she was pregnant with Tom Holland’s child and to complain about people “faking things up for no reason”.

In an Instagram story, she told her 145 million followers: “Watch now, here’s why I don’t use Twitter… Just creating stuff for no reason… weekly.”

The fake video was uploaded as part of a prank titled “Krissing” and begins as a make-up ultrasound along with a photo-edited profile photo of Zendaya.

The fake caption on the post reads like the actress wrote: “I love you. Halfway there.”

There is even a fake comment attached by Marisa Tomei intended to make it look more realistic.

The end of the video shows Kris Jenner dancing to Lady Marmalade and the announcement reads: “You Just get Krissing! Send this to your friends to #Kris them!”

Despite being labeled a joke, not everyone understood this and started sharing fake news.

Among those who almost fell for the news was rapper Lil Nas X.

The musician reacted hilariously, tweeting: “I hate twitter because I’m sitting here congratulating zendaya via dm on a baby that doesn’t exist.”

Another fan theorized that Zendaya often distances herself from social media due to rumors like this. They wrote: “Zendaya is NOT pregnant and THIS is why she’s not talking to us!”

A third tweeted a picture of Homer Simpson cozying up in bed and wrote: “The one who said Zendaya was pregnant to Twitter in a frenzy.”

And the fourth said: “” Refresh twitter to make sure that the ‘Zendaya pregnant’ trend is false. “

The hoax comes just weeks after Zendaya officially went public with her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland.

Marking his 26th birthday, the actress posted a black and white photo of the two on Instagram as they hugged.

She wrote alongside the snap: “Happy birthday to the person who makes me happiest.”
