Zoe Ball will no longer appear at Comic Relief tonight after a positive Covid test forced her to withdraw.
She will be replaced on Alesha Dixon’s BBC One fundraiser.
The Radio 2 presenter, 51, told fans she had gutted when she “falled at the final hurdle” and had to miss the show after testing positive lateral flow this morning.
Instead, Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha will join in to help raise money for the cause.
Zoe wrote on Instagram: “Pook! Fell at the final hurdle and had positive flows this morning – not too much!
“Good luck to Lenny, David, @mcguinness.paddy, @ajodudu, @vernonkay and the gang @comicrelief, there’s a lot of goodies in store tonight.”
But Zoe said she’ll watch at home instead to cheer everyone up.
She added: “I will be watching and supporting from bedtime (be it full makeup, outfits, heels and all) possibly inviting @joeldommett via #sickbay”
Comedian Joel Dommett joked: “ARE NOT! You’ve done your nails!! Take a break.. you will feel fine in the next few days! Xxx”

While a comment from the official Comic Relief account reads: “Sending all our love to you Zoe, we love you”
And one of her fans pointed out, “Can’t believe you were ‘joking’ about it airing the other day! #Jinx Get well soon Zoe!”
Joel has also been forced to withdraw from the show after contracting the coronavirus.
The Masked Singer host was set to host the charity event alongside Zoe, Lenny Henry, David Tennant, AJ Odudu, Paddy McGuinness and others.

He told fans earlier this week: “Very upset to report that I have a vid. Unfortunately this means I have to withdraw from hosting @comicrelief
“My amazing alternative is to look better, more talented @vernonkay who is ace. I will be following home donations like everyone else! “
Comic Relief premieres at 7pm on BBC One tonight and airs until 10pm.
It will include a special edition of The Repair Shop with Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and Dame Judi Dench, a special sketch starring Kylie Minogue and a case of Ghosts, Jack Whitehall joining the play. mini golf and an adults-only bedtime story by Stephen Fry, Sue Perkins and others.
