Zoe Ball has become the latest celebrity to quit the Red Nose Day show after testing positive for coronavirus.

TV presenter Joel Dommett and pop superstar Kylie Minogue both had to withdraw from the event after testing positive for Covid.
Ball said on Twitter on Friday morning: “Pook! fell at the final hurdle and got a positive flow this morning – noooooooo – gorgeous @AleshaOfficial will be working dual shifts tonight on @ComicRelief, I owe you women’s love – good luck A, Lenny, David, Paddy, AJ, Vernon & the gang @comicrelief. ”
In a second tweet, she said: “Lots of goodies in store tonight.
“I will be watching and supporting from bedtime (be it full makeup, outfits, heels and all) maybe invite @joeldommett via #sickbay COMIC RELIEF @BBCOne 7pm #rednoseday.”
Minogue was scheduled to appear in a sketch with the cast of BBC comedy Ghosts but said on Thursday night that she would be watching at home after contracting the virus.

Comedian Dommett, host of ITV’s The Masked Singer, was forced to withdraw from late-night show The Great Comic Relief Prizeathon along with AJ Odudu after testing positive again.
He will be replaced by TV star Vernon Kay tonight.
The Comic Relief Prizeathon is expected to follow BBC News At Ten and continue the Red Nose Day celebrations into the night, with live music, comedy sketches and an award draw.
The main show will be broadcast for the first time from the BBC studio in Salford with Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders among the participating stars.
Jack Whitehall will also take part in a mini golf game with soccer players Declan Rice and Mason Mount.
The Great Comic Relief Prizeathon airs on BBC One and iPlayer at 10.35pm on Fridays with a special broadcast of The Red Nose Day Comic Relief from 7pm.
